COSÌ Cosmetics: Italian beauty, simply così

COSÌ Cosmetics chose Milano Beauty Week 2026 for its official introduction to the public and the press. The debut presented a new vision of Italian make-up: essential, high-performing and inclusive, designed not to transform the people who wear it, but to give them the freedom to express themselves.

There is something deeply contemporary about the simplicity of a name like COSÌ.
An Italian word that is immediate, spontaneous, almost instinctive. One of those expressions that needs little explanation and, precisely for that reason, manages to hold a much broader meaning. Sono così — “this is how I am.” Nothing to add, no need to define yourself any further.
This is the idea behind COSÌ Cosmetics, the new Italian make-up brand that chose Milano Beauty Week 2026 to make its official market debut and meet the press, industry professionals and beauty lovers for the first time.
In the heart of Milan, inside the Beauty Cube – Duomo, on the corner of Corso Vittorio Emanuele and Via Pattari, COSÌ presented its world through an experience designed to let visitors discover the brand starting from the product itself: textures to try, colours to experiment with and personalised make-up sessions with a make-up artist.
Yet the Milan debut was more than a simple launch. It was an opportunity to show how COSÌ has chosen to interpret contemporary beauty.
A beauty less bound by rules and closer to individual identity.
No gender, no age: make-up according to COSÌ
The brand’s starting point was simple: make-up doesn’t necessarily have to correct, conceal or transform.
It can simply be a way of telling your own story.
COSÌ therefore imagined cosmetics as a personal, intuitive and, above all, free language. Different people can use the same product in different ways, without age or gender becoming categories that decide who can wear a certain colour or choose a certain texture.
No gender, no age is one of the ideas that best sums up this philosophy. The collection was designed for a broad, cross-generational audience: people who are interested in beauty and trends, but are looking for essential, contemporary, high-performing products.
COSÌ’s identity is further defined by three codes: Italian, Inclusive, Minimal.
Three words that capture not only the brand’s aesthetic, but also the way it has built its world. Italian-ness translates into quality, elegance and authenticity; inclusivity into openness and creativity; minimalism into a pursuit of essentiality, clarity and impact.
The visual identity follows the same direction. Essential, but not cold. Clean, but not impersonal. Sophisticated, without becoming distant.
The result is an image of contemporary Italy that is quite different from the one traditionally associated with Made in Italy: less decorative, more spontaneous and immediate.
From Lake Como, a different idea of Italian beauty
From the very beginning, COSÌ has had a strongly Italian identity.
The brand’s production site is on Lake Como, a place that is not just where the products take shape, but a genuine source of inspiration for the project.
The colours, the landscape and the atmosphere of the area found their way naturally into COSÌ’s imagery.
And this may be where the brand found one of its most interesting codes: expressing Italian-ness without needing to spell it out at all costs.
Italy appears instead in the details, in the evocative touches and even in the names chosen for the different shades.
Caffè Latte, Caramello, Perla di Amalfi, Ambra di Sicilia, Light Taormina, Medium Positano, Monte Bianco, Crema alla Pesca, Rosso Divino.
Names that sketch out a kind of emotional map of the country, made of coffee, coastlines, cities, colours and flavours.
The collection thus becomes a sort of Italian beauty wardrobe, designed to suit different moments, personalities and styles without imposing a single way of approaching make-up.
Make-up meets skincare
During Milano Beauty Week, it was above all the formulas that told the COSÌ story.
The collection is built on a principle of simplicity: few steps, sensorial textures and high-performing formulas that enhance the face while keeping the result natural.
Not an overly constructed kind of beauty, then, but buildable products that can be adapted to each person’s own way of doing their make-up.
Face, eyes and lips make up a complete routine, in which make-up and ingredients traditionally associated with skincare meet again and again.
The Even Tone CC Cream, for example, offers a light, breathable texture designed to melt into the skin and create an even, second-skin effect, with a naturally matte yet slightly satin finish. The formula includes coconut oil, rosemary leaf oil and hydrolysed vegetable proteins.
Alongside the CC Cream, the Serum Concealer works on the eye area with a rich, creamy texture, medium-to-high coverage and a subtle brightening effect. Key ingredients include aloe vera, betaine and low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid.
The aim, therefore, is not to erase everything that makes a face real, but to even it out and enhance it.
Light and colour, from the Amalfi Coast to Sicily
One of the most evocative parts of the collection is the one dedicated to light.
The Natural Glowing Highlighter, available in the shades Perla di Amalfi and Ambra di Sicilia, takes a delicate approach to highlighting: a silky, ultra-fine powder enriched with peptides, creating a buildable glow thanks to very fine micro-pearls.
No obvious glitter: the idea is to recreate natural light on the skin.
The same Italian imagery returns in the Natural Sunkissed Bronzer, offered in the shades Light Taormina and Medium Positano. Its velvety texture is designed to warm up the complexion and create a soft sun-kissed effect, with a demi-matte finish and buildable coverage.
Two products that, through their names as well, bring into the collection that idea of Mediterranean light which has become one of the most recognisable threads running through the COSÌ world.
Make-up you can apply with your fingers
Alongside the more classic products, COSÌ presented formulas designed to make applying make-up even more intuitive.
The Lip & Cheek Glow Balm is probably one of the most immediate examples of this philosophy: a lightly pigmented balm with a cream-to-powder texture, designed to be used on both lips and cheeks.
Available in the shades Crema alla Pesca and Crema al Lampone, it makes it easy to build up colour in layers.
The same approach returns in the Cream Blush Stick, with a creamy, smooth-gliding texture, offered in the shades Rosa di Primavera, Corallo di Mare and Ciliegia Rossa. A product designed to add colour to the face in seconds, while keeping the result fresh and radiant.
Completing the complexion is the Stick Contour, a water-free formula enriched with shea and murumuru butters, designed to sculpt and define the face with precise yet easily blendable application.
The same idea runs through all of these products: make-up not as a complicated ritual, but as a simple gesture to fit into everyday life.
Defined eyes, without giving up a natural look
For the eyes, COSÌ chose to focus on one of the most universal products in any make-up bag: mascara.
The Volume Definer Mascara was developed to combine volume, length and curl in a light, buildable formula. Its standout feature is the double-sided brush: a straight side to separate and lengthen the lashes, and a curved side to boost volume and curl.
Two shades were presented: Nero Intenso and Espresso.
A choice consistent with the whole collection: few products, but designed to be interpreted in different ways.
Lips take centre stage
If the face shows COSÌ’s most natural side, the lips reveal its most playful one.
The Super Shine Lip Serum, enriched with peptides, is designed to give lips an ultra-glossy, mirror-like shine while keeping a light, velvety texture. It comes in five shades: Cristallo, Nude Sogno, Rosa Coquette, Peonia Selvatica and Terracotta Glam.
More classic in its application, but just as contemporary in its approach, the Creamy Luxe Lipstick offers a creamy, satin texture enriched with shea butter, murumuru butter and vitamin E.
The palette spans eight shades, from Rosa Nude to Terracotta, by way of Lychee, Rosa Vivace, Viva Fuchsia, Corallo, Rosso Divino and Frutti di Bosco.
Once again, there is no single way to be COSÌ. Barely-there nudes and bold reds sit side by side in the same collection, letting colour follow the identity of the person wearing it.
Milano Beauty Week was the first chapter
Choosing Milano Beauty Week 2026 for the debut was no coincidence.
Milan became the place where COSÌ revealed for the first time not only its products, but above all the kind of conversation about beauty the brand wants to start.
During its time at the Beauty Cube, the chance to try textures and shades first-hand through personalised make-up sessions turned the brand’s manifesto into something tangible: not simply looking at the product, but wearing it, experimenting with it and making it your own.
The Milan debut was therefore the first chapter of a project looking towards a new generation of Italian cosmetics: more inclusive, more immediate, more personal and less concerned with setting universal rules about how we should look.
Because COSÌ, starting with its name, has chosen not to tell a story of transformation.
Instead, it tells a story about the freedom to recognise yourself.
To choose an intense red one day and a clear gloss the next. To want to sculpt your face, or just add a touch of blush. To follow a trend, or ignore it completely.
After all, perhaps this is the most contemporary form of beauty: not trying to become someone else, but finding your own way of being yourself.
Simply, così.
I AM COSÌ.
